Editorial policy

Sources

We cite peer-reviewed human research first, then reviews and position statements from professional bodies. Every factual claim links to a numbered reference at the end of the article.

Updates

Each article shows the date it was last changed in substance. We review the main articles every quarter and add new studies when they are published. We never change a date without changing the content.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change at the end of the article. [PLACEHOLDER: contact address for corrections]

Not medical advice

Articles explain research. They do not diagnose, treat or replace your doctor.
